Jacqueline Watts: Embracing Authenticity, Resilience, and Labrador Love

My life weaves a tapestry, starting amidst the serene desert vistas near Los Angeles and transitioning to the vibrant pulse of city life in Sacramento and Las Vegas.

In December 2020, amidst the challenges of a global pandemic, I found solace and happiness in marrying my best friend, Robert Watts. Our union not only celebrated our love but also symbolized resilience during trying times, offering a glimmer of hope amid uncertainty.

Our bond deepened in 2022 with the addition of Nala, a yellow Labrador rescue from Golden Retriever Rescue Southern Nevada (GRRSN), to our family. This furry companion enriched our lives, solidifying my affection for Labs and introducing a new chapter to our shared journey.

Through these moments, I've developed a deep appreciation for portraiture. To me, portraits transcend mere imagery; they serve as windows to the soul, each telling a unique story and leaving a lasting legacy. Through my lens, I reconnect with my roots in Las Vegas, a city steeped in history and vitality, while also treasuring memories of the desert landscapes near Los Angeles.

Come alongside me as I explore the delicate dance of light and shadow, revealing our inner selves through the art of portraiture. In my work, past, present, and future converge, painting a vivid picture of resilience, love, and the enduring power of human connection.
